The weekend will feature both ARCA and NASCAR Nationwide qualifying and incredible wheel-to-wheel racing. Race fans will have the opportunity to watch some of NASCAR’s future stars as they test their skills on the storied four-mile, 14-turn road circuit. Road America has a legendary history of featuring brilliant racers on a challenging circuit that easily separates the good from the great drivers. Additional activities include big screens, fan activities, camping and more!

Join Wollersheim Winery to celebrate the grand opening of a piece of wine history. The cave was originally built in the 1840’s by Agoston Haraszthy, founding father of the California wine industry. Wollersheim Winery restored the cave and will open the doors to this piece of history for viewing and tasting wine. (No admission fee. Open to the public.)

Aside from his success in writing, singing and performing his own songs, Lightfoot has found fortune in having his songs recorded and performed by other great artists.
In June of 2012 Lightfoot’s legacy was further enhanced when he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame. Lightfoot was honored for his role in defining the folk-pop sound of the 1960s and ’70s. There are fewer than 400 inductees who make up the impressive roster enshrined in the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The four-day weekend will also showcase a Historic CAN-AM, which is the highlight of this year’s event as an impressive field of cars is expected to gather in celebration of CAN-AM’s 47th Anniversary. For 2013, Road America will pay tribute to the Chevrolet Corvette as its featured marque in celebration of Corvette’s 60th anniversary.

The newly formed GRAND-AM / ALMS Series takes over Road America’s 4-mile circuit for what will be the most incredible weekend of sports car racing in the world. Fans will get to see the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series race on Saturday, Aug. 10, with ALMS presented by Tequila Patron race on Sunday. Fan activities include an open grid, autographs, tech talks, fan forums, car corrals, and Tour de RA bike event.

Gorgeous cars showcase racing history against the beautiful fall colors at America’s National Park of Speed! The weekend regularly attracts nearly 300 vintage and historic racecars to run over the three-day event including a field of pre-war models. The fan-friendly paddock is open to spectators for close-up views of amazing racing machines prepared to era-specifications all weekend. On Saturday fans can watch a historic road course reenactment tour, which will leave Road America and follow a route almost identical to the street course driven in the early 1950s.
